ACADEMICS
OVERVIEW
We are committed to strong academic foundations, personal integrity, and helping each child discover and develop their unique strengths. Our varied, balanced programme is designed to encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and a love of learning. Alongside academics, we value sport, music, the arts, cultural awareness, and social responsibility as important parts of a well-rounded education.
We continuously strive to keep our curriculum relevant, engaging, and responsive to the needs of our children. Our dedicated teachers, specialist subject and support staff create opportunities for every child to be challenged and supported. There are two Grade R classes with 25 children per class. Grade 1-7 have four classes each, with a maximum of 31 children in each class.
We strive to nurture our children in a stimulating environment where they can thrive.
Foundation Phase
From Grade R to Grade 3, our Foundation Phase offers a strong academic foundation in Language, Mathematics and Life Skills, supported by dedicated teachers and a structured, nationally aligned curriculum.
The children benefit from specialist IT, Music, Sport Skills, Gymnastics and Xhosa lessons, as well as Enrichment and Remedial support, Library time, curriculum -linked outings and a wide range of extra -mural activities, all designed to develop confident, well-rounded children ready to thrive.
Intermediate and Senior Phase

With small classes, specialist subjects (Art, Drama, Music, IT, Library and Xhosa), study skills support, smartboard technology, outreach initiatives and dedicated academic support, we grow confident, independent children ready for the future.
SBST / ESU-Enrichment & Support
Our Support Team works with class teachers to help children thrive. Weekly multidisciplinary meetings review each individual child’s needs and guide referrals, supporting children on their life and learning journey.
