OVERVIEW
The Creative Arts Building is the epicentre of artistic life at Sweet Valley. Our modern, purpose – built facility brings music, drama, and art together under one roof creating a dedicated space where creativity is given the environment it deserves.
The building houses:
- Nine individual music tuition rooms
- A music library
- A class music venue
- A drama studio and performance hall
- An art studio
It is from this building that our children compose, rehearse, perform, exhibit, and grow, and where much of the creative heartbeat of the school can be found.
Music
Sweet Valley recognises the value of music in a child’s life and as such has embraced the subject as an integral part of the school curriculum. This department goes a long way to encouraging and stimulating a love for the broader subject of Arts and Culture.

Art
Art at Sweet Valley is a hands-on, expressive programme that gives every child the space to explore their creativity and develop their own artistic voice. Across the grades, children work in a range of mediums. Including painting, drawing, charcoal and pottery, building both skill and confidence as artists.
Drama
Drama at Sweet Valley nurtures confidence, empathy, and creative expression through class drama from Grade 3 to 7. Children explore storytelling, improvisation, characterisation, and performance in a supportive environment. Extra-mural drama extends learning,
Library
Our Library is indeed a discovery centre and forms an integral part of Sweet Valley. It is a vibrant, colourful, busy and exciting place. It is fully computerised and is well stocked with more than 14 000 wonderful books including CDs, DVDs and other resources.
